CLASSES
Beginner’s Wirework:
Learn to make your own creative components using wire and beads. Skills tought include basic loops, fancy loops, proper wire gauges, clasp attachment and more. You will leave class with a finished bracelet and some great new skills. 1.5 – 2 hour class.
Tools you will need to bring are: Round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers and a wire cutter.
Class cost: $ 40 includes all supplies. Limit 10 students.
Intermediate Wirewok:
Take your wirework skills to the next level. Learn to make fancier links using just wire. Skills taught include wire manipulation & design, creative imaginering, tool use, proper guage chose and more. The bracelet will be making is the Spiral Quad Link. The links we will be making can be used to design pendants, earring and bracelets.
Tools you will need to bring are: Round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers and wire cutter.
Class cost: $40 includes materials. Limit 10 students. Requires previous wirework experience.
Steampunk Riveting Class:
Learn to make jewelry with different types of screws and rivets without soldering. Like Steampunk. In this class you will learn to cut discs out of metal, punch holes, file and attach almost anything you want to creating wonderful one of a kind jewelry. You will make a pendant or pair of earrings. Just bring your imagination and sky is the limit.
Class cost: $40 and includes materials and tool use. Limit 10 student.

BASIC BEADING:
Basic beading will be a fun class. We will make a basic bracelet with crystal beads . You will make a pair of earrings to match. We will be working with soft flex wire and silver wire. We will learn to use all the beading tools square nose pliers, round nose pliers, and krimp pliers.
Class time: 1 to 2 hours
Class fee: $35.00 includes your kit
Instructor: Cheryl Orahood : Cheryl has been in the jewelry business for 30 years. She is a silversmith , teacher and a bead dealer.

Basic Soldered Pendant
This class will give you basic training in soldering. We will learn to solder with all the different types of solder, wire, sheet(snips), and paste. We will be soldering with a micro torch. We will also learn to texture metal and use silver wire to decorate our pieces and make head pins to hang from our pendants. We will also look at other metals such as copper and brass.
Class time: Call for appointment
Class Fee: This class fee will be $110.00. The fee includes a kit with materials for this project.
No prior experience is necessary . Your instructor will be Cheryl Orahood who has 20 to 30 years of metal work. She is a metal smith and silversmith with her own studio and also a bead dealer.
