FRIDAY, AUGUST 2
Beginner Jewelry 101 2:00pm-4:30pm
In this class you will learn the basic technical aspects of creating you own beautiful jewelry. Learn to attach clasps, use crimp beads and learn to attach ear wires to earrings. You will make necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and earrings. Create one of a kind jewelry and your finished projects are for you to keep and take home.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 3
Beginner Peyote Stitch 10:00am-12:30pm
Learn the seed bead stitch for flat or round peyote stitch. Using a needle and thread, you will weave seed beads to learn the basics of this versatile stitch that can be use to create all kinds of wonderful projects. Even the most beginner can enjoy learning seed bead stitches.
Beginner Jewelry 101 1:00pm-3:00pm

Sculptural Peyote Cuff Bracelet 3:30-6:00pm
This is an advanced class for those who know how to do peyote stitch. You will need to bring a flat peyote beaded piece that is about a half inch smaller than you wrist. We will then sculpt and embellish with beads to create a wonderful cuff bracelet and expand into the world of creative beading. You will also learn how to make a beaded toggle clasp from seed beads and learn how to fit and size cuffs. You may bring 8-10 larger beads to embellish with and we will be using all size seed beads and squares.
** You may bring jewelry tools if you have some, also remember to bring glasses if you need them!
